2015-2016 Parking Permits Posted on September 4th, 2015 by

parking-lot-signStudents who wish to park a vehicle on campus must obtain a student parking permit by registering their motor vehicle with the Department of Campus Safety either in person or online. The student parking permit fee for 2015-2016 is $250.  Pro-rated, one semester rates are also available.

Online registration is available. Students will need their email user name and password, along with the vehicle license plate and information in order to complete the online form. Students who registered online in August or before should find their parking permit in their campus mailbox when they arrive on campus. $250 will be charged to their student account in September.

Bicycles parked on campus need to be registered with the Department of Campus Safety. There is no charge for registration, but non-registered and unsecured bicycles can be picked up and owners can be charged fees. Visit the Campus Safety office or complete the online vehicle and bike registration and review the campus bicycle regulations.

You may also register vehicles or bikes in person at the Campus Safety Office in the basement of Norelius Hall.

Vehicles parked on campus without a valid parking permit, or parked in the wrong designated lot can receive parking tickets. Students are responsible for knowing Gustavus’ campus parking and traffic regulations.

Contact the Campus Safety office 24 hours a day at 507-933-8888 with any parking related questions.
