The halls are closed during Christmas break. Each year a limited number of students are granted permission to live off-campus, with the remaining students residing in College-owned residence halls, apartments, or houses. Gustavus Highly Ranked for Study Abroad Participation

Gustavus has been ranked in the top 20 among baccalaureate institutions throughout the United States in the Institute of International Education’s Open Doors report for the total number of students who study abroad. With 359 students studying abroad, Gustavus is one of six Minnesota higher education institutions ranked in the top 20.
