The 439 Commission Gustavus 150 recommendations created by the eight Task Forces have been reviewed, with similar recommendations merged. This resulted in 385 recommendations being grouped into seven substantive categories. The level of importance gathered about these recommendations from faculty, administrators, staff, students, alumni, and other Commission participants was attached to each recommendation. At a three-day workshop the Board of Trustees and vice presidents reviewed each recommendation and placed them into one of three tiers. The tiers represent a relevant urgency to demonstrate substantial progress toward completion. The final approval of the recommendations and tiers will happen at the October 2009 Board of Trustees meeting with the public announcement of recommendations to occur on Friday, October 9, at the Commission Gustavus 150 Celebration Dinner.
