MAYDAY! Conference Focuses on How We Imagine Peace… Posted on April 1st, 2010 by

“Imaging Peace” is the topic of the 30th annual MAYDAY! Peace Conference to be held Wednesday, April 28, 2010, on the college campus. Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer, an assistant professor of justice and peace studies at the University of St. Thomas and a nationally recognized writer, public speaker, and activist committed to nonviolent social change, will open the daylong conference at 10 a.m. in Christ Chapel. The afternoon schedule includes an audience-participatory World PeaceGame simulation workshop and the final round of the MAYDAY! Oratory Contest. The conference is open to the public at no charge.
