Living Off Campus Posted on November 1st, 2004 by

Each year 400 students are granted permission to live off campus, with the remaining 2,050 students residing in college-owned residence halls, apartments, or houses. Students MUST receive permission from the Residential Life Office to live off campus, which is based on the student’s housing priority number. Students should NOT sign a lease until they have been granted permission to live off campus, because a signed lease does NOT guarantee off-campus housing. Many students also do not understand all the expenses besides rent, involved with living off campus including utilities and food. For more information on the housing selection process go to Housing Selection. Please note the dates on the Residential Life website are from the last year’s selection process. Updated dates will be posted soon.
