Housing and Choosing a Roommate Posted on January 1st, 2005 by

Housing selection for next academic year begins in February, with housing selection for double occupancy rooms, the most prevalent of the options, happening in April. The placement of students is completely dependent on priority number. The priority numbers are randomly distributed within each class of students. (For example, current junior students would have higher priority for housing than current first-year students, but the numbers are randomly distributed among the junior class). This priority number also determines which students will be granted permission to live off campus.
In addition to choosing a place to live, it is also important for students to consider whom they will live with. Click on Roomates for some ideas to think about when students choose to live together.
