Greek Pledging Posted on September 1st, 2007 by

The pledge period for fraternities and sororities is happening in September on campus. There are 5 fraternities and 5 sororities on campus, two of which are national affiliates. The Greek tradition at Gustavus dates back more than 100 years. Students and advisers have worked hard again this past year to modify the pledge period and activities to offer experiences that are rewarding and responsible for all participants. Only students with at least sophomore academic status and who meet a minimum grade point average are eligible to pledge. The Greeks each year are active in planning educational, social, and community service projects for their members and the campus. If you have any questions about pledging or Greek life, please contact Megan Ruble, director of student activities, at 507/933-7598 or mruble@gustavus.edu.
