President Peterson Announces Retirement
President Jim Peterson ’64 announced in August that he plans to retire at the conclusion of the current academic year. The Gustavus Board of Trustees will begin a nationwide search for a new president. Family Weekend is October 13-14 at Gustavus and is combined with Homecoming festivities. The full schedule this year includes musical performances, athletic events, and seminars on parenting a college student, international terrorism, and the Linneaus Arboretum, as well as a performance by Comedy Sportz.
