Health Insurance Billing Posted on August 24th, 2010 by

All office visits with our Health Service medical providers, laboratory tests, immunizations, and medical supplies will be billed to the student’s medical insurance plan.  Students are encouraged to present their health insurance card at each visit. Health Service will file insurance claims directly provided we have the student’s current insurance plan information.  Any unpaid fees will be charged to your student’s account.  This includes co-pays, coinsurance, deductibles, and non-covered or out of network charges.  If the student does not want their insurance billed for a particular office visit, they may pay cash for the visit (or have it charged to their student account).  No student will be denied care due to inability to pay.  Services are provided at a reasonable cost.
