The women’s golf team won the 2010 MIAC Women’s Golf Championship for the third consecutive year. With the victory, Gustavus earns a berth into the NCAA championships this spring. Katie Schenfeld, the reigning MIAC individual medalist, defended her title to become the first back-to-back MIAC champion in Gustavus history after shooting a 224 (+8).
In women’s tennis, Senior Sam Frank finished second at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Small College Championships. As a result of advancing to the championship round, Frank receives ITA All-America honors for the 2010–11 season. She is the first Gustavus women’s tennis player to advance to the championship match in the singles draw at the ITA Small College Championships.
