Robert Lang will be presenting at the Science Museum about the Origami exhibit that is currently in the Hillstrom Museum on campus. There is no charge for this spectacular event, and reservations are still available for the public lecture featuring Robert J. Lang, Ph.D., noted physicist and world-recognized origami artist, on Thursday, March 10, beginning at 7 p.m. at the SMM Auditorium. His presentation is titled “From Flapping Birds to Space Telescopes: The Mathematics of Origami.” Again, the event is free, however, reservations are requested online at gustavustickets.com, or call the Office of Marketing and Communication at 507-933-7520 by March 9.
You can also visit the open exhibit in the Hillstrom Museum in the Jackson Campus Center here on campus. The hours for the museum are Mondays-Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
