Half of all Gusties will have spent a semester or January interim abroad during their time at Gustavus, and Gustavus regularly ranks in the top 20 nationally for total number of students that study away each year. These are impressive stats! Students planning to spend next fall or spring abroad apply for Gustavus approval by March 1. If your son or daughter falls into this category, hopefully they are discussing their plans with you – but we encourage you to ask them as well. Parent involvement and support is important, and we encourage all students to be in close contact with you.
