Join us for Family Weekend festivities this year! Parents, family, and friends of the College are invited to “Introduce your Gustavus Family to Our Gustavus Family.”
The weekend is packed with events that are great for the whole family from young children to grandparents. Whether you are a Gustavus alum, friend, or a parent of a brand new Gustie you are now part of our Gustavus family! Join us on Friday to welcome the Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the founding of the College, followed by evening entertainment from “LineUs,” our on campus student improv group. Saturday is filled with workshops, a carnival, a golf outing, a banquet, and entertainment by Plastic Musik to end the evening. The weekend will come to a close with the college’s Sunday worship service and music performances in Christ Chapel.
The Family Weekend Booklet will be mailed our the first week in September, but is already available online if you’d like to preview and register early by mail. Online registration will open in September. Area hotels (especially those closest to the College) will book up so we recommend making advanced reservations.
