On Thursday, April 18 at 7 p.m. in Alumni Hall at Gustavus, Dr. Arthur Brooks is the keynote speaker for this year’s Lindau Symposium. What makes Americans happy? What’s the impact of work, giving, and family on happiness? What government policies and programs would bolster happiness? Dr. Brooks is an expert on public policy and economics who has published extensively on social entrepreneurship, the value of non-profit organizations, and the connections between culture, politics, and economic life.
