  1. Julie Vickerman says:

Hello – I was inquiring if students need to have a certain GPA in order to study abroad?
    Thank you.

    • Megan B. Ruble says:

Bryan Messerly, Study Away Program Coordinator in the Center for International and Cultural Education, answers as follows:
Gustavus students must have at least a 2.75 cumulative GPA and cannot be on academic or disciplinary probation to study away. However, a student whose GPA falls just below the cut off point may petition to be approved. Certain program providers or specific study away programs may have a separate GPA requirement that may be higher than 2.75. In those cases, students must meet the program provider GPA as well to be admitted into their chosen program.
