Divestment & Reinvestment: Making Money Count is the theme of Gustavus Adolphus College’s 36th annual MAYDAY!.
Through a diversity of speakers with a wide range of perspectives, the conference will examine past divestment initiatives and current strategies, investigate the impact of power structures, and explore the complexity and commitments surrounding the ongoing debates. This conference will probe the morality and mechanics of divestment in order to inspire effective action for building peace.
This full-day conference, which is open to the public at no charge, is an annual event designed to educate the campus, community, and beyond about issues related to peace, human rights, and social justice.
