Break Parking and beyond – Don’t Get Towed! Posted on December 13th, 2016 by

PLEASE REMIND YOUR STUDENT:

All vehicles remaining on campus over Christmas Recess must be parked in the designated break parking in the Bjorling Lot (directly west of the Music building) or if that fills up, in the designated break parking section in the Arbor View Lot.  Look for the BREAK PARKING signs to be sure you are parked in the correct rows!  Vehicles left over break not moved to designated break parking are subject to citation and tow at owner’s expense.

Regular parking enforcement is in effect during Finals, all of January term, and Touring Week (red and green permit parking enforced 7am-5pm weekdays, overnight parking restricted 2am-7am in all green permit parking and the Stadium lot 7 days a week, Visitor parking closed to students and employees 24/7/365).  Always assume that parking is enforced, even if classes are not in session.

All student vehicles parked on campus must display a valid parking permit and park according to permit color.  Permits for January ($50), or for J-term and Spring ($150), will be available in the Campus Safety office (Spring permits will be available in February for $130).  Please register in the Campus Safety office and obtain a permit before parking your vehicle to avoid citation.  If you change vehicles over the break, return your original sticker for a replacement sticker registered to your new vehicle ($10 replacement fee).
