Gustavus Receives More than $450,000 in Grants Posted on January 11th, 2010 by

Gustavus Adolphus College recently received a $310,000 grant from the National Science Foundation to purchase a Polytec Scanning Laser Doppler Vibrometer to support the research program of Professor of Physics Tom Huber. The College also received a three-year $155,000 curriculum development grant from the National Science Foundation, titled “Integrating Sustainability Across and Within the Science Curriculum.” While this initiative involves a wide range of faculty, core project faculty include Chuck Niederriter (lead author, physics), Colleen Jacks (biology), and Jeff Jeremiason (chemistry, environmental studies).
