If a student has visited Health Service the family will receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from their medical insurance company. Staff members in Health Service recommend that you do not pay the amount listed on the EOB, but instead wait until you receive a bill from Student Accounts at Gustavus. This will ensure that your payment is properly credited to your student’s Gustavus account. Please contact Health Service at 507-933-7630 if you have any questions. Due to HIPAA regulations, Health Service staff is unable to provide any specific health information regarding your student unless a release of information is signed by your student and recorded in our files.
