If you’ve ever spent time in a practice room in Schaefer, went to a rehearsal in the Art Barn, or simply enjoyed a performance by a Gustavus ensemble, you have been part of the wonderful tradition of music at the college. Friends of Music, a new group of alumni, parents and friends, Is a way to stay connected to and support music at Gustavus.
By joining Friends of Music you will receive information on Gustavus ensemble performances on and off campus, invitations to pre-concert gatherings, and a recording of Christmas in Christ Chapel. Mark your calendar for these upcoming Friends of Music events: Sunday, October 10 – Day of Music on Campus/Family Weekend and Sunday, December 5 – Friends of Music Presents … (Join us before the Sunday afternoon C in CC for Christmas goodies and program notes presented by our Gustavus Music Faculty). Your membership donation will support Jussi Björling scholarships and ensemble tours.
